Puertacita Marfa is a new community sitting on the doorstep of world renowned modern art destination, Marfa, TX. Where art, architecture and culture meet. A major inspiration for this community was the beautiful, high-desert setting of the property. The site offers long, breathtaking views over ranch land to the Puetacita mountains to the north. The big west Texas skies are also integral to the design offering pristine, clear light in the day and world class stargazing at night. The low humidity, high-desert landscape of the Chihuahuan desert and Marfa Plateau and truly remarkable in their aesthetic as well as their plant and animal life. This location, as well as Marfa in general, truly embody a very strong sense of place. The homes’ architecture is defined by clean, minimalist lines, with walls of windows bringing in the pristine high-desert light and framing the gorgeous views. Intelligent use of space and interior lighting also play a major role in this design.
